This month we will have Steven, speaking about Health Insurance, and changes that may be coming in January to Medicade If you are at or near retirement age, or have a family member that is about that age, this is a meeting not to miss.

Free Yard Trees

Fall is a great time to plant a tree!

Register now for a giveaway event to get FREE Yard Trees from TreePhilly. Just 2 weeks remain before registration closes on 10/31. Pre-registered participants will be able to select from between 8 and 10 trees at each giveaway location, including fruit trees! Walk-in participants will not be able to get fruit trees.

The Tacony Civic Association will be hosting their Last concert of the season on Saturday September 7th.

Noon to 6pm.

To Kick of the concert we will open with

The National Anthem ~ John Benussi

Followed by Fun City Trio ~ with your favorite oldies

Unforgettable ~ with Lenny( an original Blue Note Of Harold Melvin )along with Kathy ~ The sounds of Philly

The Kramer Brothers ~ hitting some one hit oldies wonders

Headlining ~ The One and Only Legendary Charlie Gracie


All concerts are at Disston Recreation Center (Disston & Glenlock Sts).
We will have food vendors including hot dogs, sausage, snacks, pizza, water ice and cold drinks.
Restrooms are on the premises.
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
Bring a blanket \ lawn chair.

We do ask that you send NO money, as there are no rain dates.
Money will be collected after everyone is set up and rolling.

A 6-month outdoor event bringing the skills of local artists/craftsmen to our community

Artfest will be held on the first Friday of each month beginning May and ending in October.Location of the event is along the closed block of 6800 Torresdale Avenue, Philadelphia, Pa 19135.Start time of each event is: 5pm and ends 8pm.Vendor setup time is 4pm.

Join other vendors from areas near and far in this exciting opportunity to introduce the artistry and skills of a vast array of trades to Tacony.

A donation of $10.00 per vendor is requested per participating month.If you are interested in becoming a vendor at this event, please complete the contact information below and return to Tacony Civic Association along with your donation.
